Moving to Chicago? That’s wonderful! Everyone should live in Chicago for a part of their lives, and experience everything that the city has to offer. Here are some of Core Group Chicago’s best recommendations for new residents to enjoy

Museum of Science and Industry. The Museum of Science and Industry is HUGE and it has exhibits enough to keep you coming back for days. Attractions include a massive model of the city of Chicago as it was being built, aircraft, world-renowned events visiting continually, space exhibits, and more.

John G Shedd Aquarium. The Shedd has been one of Chicago’s family friendly hotspots for years, and there is good reason why. A 90,000 gallon coral reef display has coral, fish, plants, and eels and lets you and your family really see what the bottom of a coral reef would look like. Outside the aquarium you have other pools for Sea-world type shows, including the always popular dolphin and whale shows that are truly unforgettable. .

Wrigley Field and Wrigleyville. Are you a sports fan? Even if you aren’t a cubs fan you have to go see a game at Wrigley. The whole field is classic Americano, from the music to the food to the beer to the hand-operated score board above the outfield. Not only is it the smallest major league baseball field in the world, it is the most unforgettable and the hardcore Cubs fans that flock there are no less so. After the game the stadium turns into the Central feature of Wrigleyville, a sprawling neighborhood packed with sports bars and one of the true Chicago spots to visit—just don’t bring the kids to this part.
